Description

We were made aware of a collection that was hiding under our noses for half a century. Challenges face this collection given the technology they were using at the time. Our priority is to not only access these recordings, but, with the help of a student researcher, identify what we can about the collection and each of its recordings, create a report of its current state and contents, and explore possibilities for future digitization and transcription.

Outcome

Report of the status of the collection, inventory of the recordings, and a proposed plan to convert and transcribe the audio. Initial conversion efforts of the collection may occur.
