Project

Expansion of Home-Based Early Head Start Services to 3-5 Year Olds

Description

By extending services to the 3-5 age group, we aim to enhance early childhood development, address early learning gaps, and provide continued support as children transition into preschool and beyond. The biggest challenge is estimating projected costs such as staff salaries and training, curriculum materials and resources, and additional supplies needed for home visits and socialization activities.

Outcome

The project focuses on laying the groundwork for addressing the critical community needs related to early childhood education, family support, and social-emotional development. The community-focused objectives can help address the need for expanded services, build foundational partnerships, and write an effective grant to secure funding for the expansion.
