Despite several decades of scholarship on the positive impacts of CE on undergraduate students and faculty, only recently have studies focused on community partners’ perspectives, with even more limited research in rural communities. Three students conducted a mixed-methods follow-up study to gain an understanding of the Allegheny-Meadville relationship and the impact of community engagement on partners who engage with the college. The goal was to provide an opportunity to amplify the voice of community partners, to develop a better understanding of the community partner’s experience, and improve future practice.
