Common Roots' is a nonprofit organization trying to create affordable, accessible, and sustainable housing in Meadville.

Common Roots’ is a nonprofit organization trying to create affordable, accessible, and sustainable housing in Meadville. Students designed surveys that were distributed to local contractors and researched case studies of other cooperative housing models to help Common Roots understand the support needed and available to property owners. Needs assessments are also being conducted by Common Roots and Keystone Development Center to help determine maintenance and rehab needs property owners.
